Current projects are those that researchers are currently working on and are considered unpublished at this time. Projects listed below are linked to the primary researcher of the project.

Featured Researcher of the Month: Bridgette Clarkston

Bridgette Clarkston is a PhD candidate at the University of New Brunswick. The objectives of her study are to: 1) determine unequivocally the relationships and diversity of species in the family Kallymeniaceae, and in particular the genera Callophyllis, Pugetia and Euthora in Canada, using the DNA barcode (COI-5P) marker as an assessment tool; 2) determine which morphological and/or anatomical characteristics are taxonomically viable at the species level in these genera; and 3) resolve the phylogenetic affinities of Kallymeniaceae found in Canada relative to other genera of this family from other geographical regions, using LSU sequence data.
